Years racing & what cars have you raced over the years?
25yrs (on & off), started 1993 in a 4dr Alfasud, Sud Sprint, Series1 Alfa 33, The Metalcraft Alfasud, now the 1976 Alfasud Ti.
When was your first season in Trofeo? 1996.
Why Trofeo?
My brother and I were going to race our Fiats but their club wasn't very active in motorsport so we changed to Alfas.
Race Nickname & the story behind it? 'Fast Eddie' Apparently the ERC* group think i'm fast, and my name is Eddie.
Scratch or Handicap? 'Scratch', it's true competition, Handicap is a lottery.
Best Race advice ever received? Never give up the inside line, make them go the longway around. (Robin Green, Brands Hatch race driver trainer).
Most memorable Trofeo moment? Hearing Ant (Gray) groan (meaning we're alive) after huge crash during testing at Pukekohe.
And the time Hamish Vowles & I raced 10-tenths side by side for two laps of Manfield.
Best Trofeo result? Class wins; 1996-97, 1998-99, 2006-17 & 2015-16.
