Toorace - Trofeo Partnership 2018/19

We are proud to announce the Toorace Trofeo Partnership for 2018/19

Trofeo Series will partner with Toorace NZ for the 2018/19 Race Season

Safety and Function with Italian Style meets People, Passion & Speed

The Trofeo Series has announced a partnership with Toorace NZ for Season #29.

Toorace is an Italian Race Gear manufacturer, which crafts race gear by hand to a very high standard. New to New Zealand the Toorace NZ directors James McComb and Glenn Edley approached Trofeo Series, New Zealand’s only dedicated Italian Race Car series with a proposal to promote the brand alongside the Trofeo Series racing for the 2018/19 season.

Trofeo Series racing has the aim of being ‘friendly, competitive, and relatively affordable motor racing’. The Trofeo Series committee believes that James & Glenn of Toorace NZ share these values and will bring expertise in marketing the Series along with a lot of fun. (Check out the way that they are promoting their underwear special).

Trofeo Series Chair, Wendy Metcalfe, says that the partnership will provide access to the full Toorace range for Series registered drivers at exclusive prices. The cost of obtaining race kit is an important pre-requisite for new drivers, as well as an ongoing need for the experienced racer as race gear reaches replacement. The quality of the Toorace range, which is manufactured hands-on by a family run company in Italy, is consistent with the driver-friendly approach of our racing in Trofeo. The committee believes that the partnership will result in increased profile of & growth of both entities.

There are a number of initiatives agreed in the Toorace - Trofeo partnership, with ongoing development of ways to support the shared goals for the season. The first of these initiatives will be rolled out at the Series’ briefing at Round 1, the HRC Events Icebreaker meeting at Hampton Downs this weekend (22/23 September 2018) when we will introduce James & Glenn in person and they will announce a competition open to all Trofeo Series drivers.
